ANZAC ceremony

In the last week, we learnt about ANZAC day and the importance of this day.

ANZAC day is the day to remember all the people who fought to protect our country, without them we would not have been able to live in this wonderful land.

Lest we forget.

Manaiakalani Inquiry Expo

Today was Manaiakalani Inquiry Expo day and it was the day where all 12 schools shared with the community what they had learnt during the term.
Our school's inquiry unit was about pests in our community and the big question was "Pests- who needs them?"

Our whole school contributed to fill up the space with information we learnt over the 10 weeks. It was presented in many different ways and all the teachers and students are very proud of the successful result.

What is your favourite or eye-catching area?

ANZAC

This week we have started to learn about ANZAC (Australia New Zealand Army Corps).
Every year on 25th of April, it is important to remember the soldiers who fought for our country.
Today we looked closely at some pictures of ANZACS and discussed about what it would have been like to fight in a war at the time.
